Starting with Forex
31.03.2009I was interested in Forex at 2002 for the first time. I attended several lectures for beginners. But I had no money that time to try real trading. I heard that to start trading at real Forex you must have at least $10000 at deposit… And I think it’s not very interesting and useful to practice at demo-Forex. When you earn and lost your real money it’s really another world, another feelings, passions. It can’t be undestand at Demo-trading…
Some years later I knew about Mini-Forex… At classic Forex trading minimum lot is a $100000 and maximum leverage 1:100. It means that your margin will be $1000 for one deal. And it is quite reasonable to have at least $10000 at deposit. At Mini-Forex minimum lot is a 1/10 (0.1) of classic lot. My broker Alpari offers Alpari.micro accounts where minimum lot is 1/100 of classic.
So I started my Forex practice with only 40 bucks about a year ago. After some trials I put $500 at depo… In a month I had $1000 - it was great!!! But then I had not time to follow the market and after some thoughtless actions I lost my depo… It wasn’t great loss for me - $500, but that time I had another interests and I gave up trading.
This winter I decided to try again with trading. World crisis brings many opportunities for traders because of large currency movements. I began with about $300 and in a few days I had $600 - this time fortune was with me! Then I had several not very successful transactions but I didn’t lost my profit. And I thought about tactics…
